Practical Tips To Learn Faster

Hello boys and girls, ladies and germs welcome to the blog!

Today I want to share six tips to learn any skill faster. I have personally used these tips at different points of my life and I truly believe that accelerated learning is the next big investment in yourself.

Before we begin I just want to clear it out that these tips have been adopted by Jim Kwik, he is a learning coach with big clients such as Elon Musk.

so let's get right into it,

The acronym used for the six tips is "BE FAST".

B-Believe
"Whether you think you can do it or you think you cant,
both ways you are right "

The first step is to believe in yourself, stop saying that "I am a slow learner", "I am not as smart as you",
because here's the thing, if you fight for your limitations, you get to keep it.
You are looking at yourself right now through the eyes of self-doubt, limitation and fear,
once you clean up the stained glass window, you see the world through a new set of possibilities.

Believe in yourself, that you are no less than ""GENIUS", and then the armed with that belief do what you thought was impossible.

E- Exercise

REMEMBER THIS
--"AS YOUR BODY MOVES,
      YOUR BRAIN GROOVES."
The more you exercise, the more your brain develops stronger connections between neural pathways

the science behind this is-
--When you exercise, your body releases brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) It is responsible for neuroplasticity which is the process of creating new neurons. when we learn something new our brain creates neural pathways to remember it and if exercising creates more neurons we learn anything faster than usual.

So try not to be a dumb jack as playing and exercising won't drop your grades.

F-Forget

"It's HARD TO FILL A CUP THATS ALREADY FULL"

If you want to learn something new and when you read or take a class about it, your mindset while taking the class should be that I know nothing about this particular topic.

This was the point I was the most guilty with, I used to enter my classes with my ego speaking I already know this, instead, this resulted in a lack of curiosity and a lot of ego feeding.
IF you want to learn something new go into that course empty-minded with a child's curiosity, not only will you learn new things but also your existing knowledge will be clearer.
I have made this mistake, I urge you to learn from my mistakes and make new mistakes!

A-Active

--Remember this
"LEARNING IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT!"

If you are just sitting and hearing a guy speak with no engagement whatsoever you are not going to learn anything, we have all experienced this in school. we just sit there waiting for the end of the lecture with no attention. now I agree not all teachers are very engaging but it's you who has to learn the subject not the teacher, it is you who has to perform not the teacher. Find ways to stay active and constantly engage in the lecture.
few examples could be trying to anticipate the practical uses of the subject or if you like art or you are an exceptional artist who just likes to publish their drawing at the back pages(like me) for such people try making mind maps, drawings which could explain the topic you are learning, no matter how rubbish the drawing seems it will help you.

S-State

--"ALL LEARNING IS STATE DEPENDENT"

why do you have million-dollar ideas while you are taking a shower or any activity while you are relaxed?
--This is because your brain is in a state called theta or alpha, where you brain projects certain frequency of vibrations now this is a huge topic to dive into but the overall summary important here is that try studying while you are relaxed, this means try cutting of external stresses from your environment, you cant speed learn if you are concerned about who might have texted you.

So try to relax and bring external stressors out of your day.

T-Teach

Ask yourself
--If you had to teach this article to anyone would you read it the same way as you did now?

learning as if you wanted to teach anyone would force you to look into the details of the skill and you will understand more because you are taking more effort to understand it. if you have no one to explain it to teach it to yourself by making diagrams or by writing blogs(just like what I am doing here).

So remember "BE FAST"

B-BELEIVE

I hope you gain something from this post but remember to "BE FAST" with your actions because you won't gain any more wisdom until you use what you currently have.
